Games & Exercises

 NEXT WORKSHOP 30 – 31 August ! REGISTRATION OPEN!!

“Theater is a form of knowledge; it is the place where individuals can model new worlds, new realities, and new possibilities.” – Augusto Boal

“Games and exercises” is a workshop inspired by Augusto Boal’s Games for Actors and Non-Actors in an experiential setting, where the meaning of each exercise is revealed through practice.
During the 2 days, participants will acquire a theater toolkit to expand their creative repertoire and support critical thinking in personal and collective processes.

The workshop is designed to connect practice with purpose: it offers time to reflect and discuss how these tools can be adapted and applied in artistic, educational, and social contexts.
It is open to everyone: educators, artists, community leaders, activists, and all who are interested in creative expression and social justice. No prior experience in theater is required—all you need is an open mind and a willingness to engage.

By participating in this workshop, you’ll not only acquire valuable tools for your theatrical toolkit but also become part of a supportive community dedicated to theater as a catalyst for positive change.

Facilitated by Christoph Leucht, director of KURINGA and part of the Masculinities Lab forum theatre group, whose work is committed to expanding Theatre of the Oppressed and Teatro de las Oprimidas methods, and Estera Stan, peer trainer against racism towards Sinti and Roma, active in RomaniPhen and engaged in using theatre and film to raise awareness of discrimination.
